What you state here was simplistically stated by Kerry during the debate yesterday. I hope that it was simple enough for the American people to understand that closing fire stations here to open one in Iraq, laying off law enforcement people here so that they could hire them in Iraq is somethinh the people would understand.

And what I understood Kerry to say that he will work with even the existing allies of the Iraq war to get them to agree that if we close one fire station here in the US, the Brits should close one of theirs also and so should Poland etc. Right now, Bush did hasten to point out during the debate that Poland was an ally but he did not say why he thought Poland was an ally. For sending a few hundred troops compared to our 150,000!!
