So the first debate is done with Kerry a clear-cut winner. I thought Kerry was most vulnerable on the foreign policy subject since all the cheesy political lies about flip-flopping had obviously hurt Kerry in the polls.

The next one a week from today is a town-hall format with citizens asking the questions on issues of their own choosing. Bush may be more relaxed here and able to b.s. and bluster his way through without too much damage.

Five days after that, we have the final debate on the subject of the economy. I can't wait for this one and Kerry has to be champing at the bit to talk about the dismal economic performance of this administration.

I don't know why anyone thinks Iraq is the only issue here. A very tiny percentage of American families have been directly affected by the Iraq debacle. Many millions of American families have ALREADY been adversely affected by Bush's abysmal performance with the economy and ALL American families will eventually be screwed by his economic "legacy".

trillions in surplus...Poof!...trillions in deficits
record trade deficits
oil prices up 100% with two big oil men in charge
5 million people losing health insurance
45 million without health insurance
spiraling health care costs
shameless handouts to his wealthy backers
miserable record on job creation
looting of the social security surplus
Utter fiscal irresponsibility

Those are just the beginning!

I don't see how Kerry will find enough time to do more than scratch the surface of the litany of economic failure by these incompetents.
