Networm, I used Avast! in a PC I gave away and it was ok.

PS: I now have several programs trying to do the same thing, like restricting certain cookies. I've disabled that capability in some programs [ZA] so i can take action when a site 'complains'.

I've also heard good things about it but I tend to stick with a program that works for me. I starting using AVG a while back and have stuck with it since.

Networm,

I've used Avast! for a year. Switched from AVG which was having server overload problems at the time due both to the method of update (entire set of definitions each time) and its popularity. I posted extensively to the group about Avast! shortly after discovering it . Seems there's quite a few now who use it. I particularly like the way it frequently auto updates and how effectively it catches email viruses.

Still a big fan.
