"To whom was Bush speaking when he said "bring it on"?"

The bad guys. Terrorists, insurgents and baathists.

More specifically, he was speaking to the Iraqi insurgents.

I agree that this is a silly exchange. Seems like you would just say that you really meant these groups, and not all arabs.

How can I say all these groups when Bush was only talking about one particular group........the Iraqi insurgents? There may be others mixed in...........some Ba'athists and Shiites, and a few terrorists but together they represent the Iraqi insurgents.

You state it just like the terrorists state it. They try to trick the arab public into thinking we have declared war on all arabs. The TRUTH is that we want to HELP the arabs by getting rid of terrorism.

If I said just the Iraqi insurgents, seriously how can that possibly mean all Iraqis let alone all Arabs? That makes absolutely no sense.

"It does not show the dishonesty in my position but rather it shows your desperate attempts to tar me with the same brush as you."

LOL. Not desperate at all. And feel free to continue to use that verbage, and fight to the end that it is the correct way to portray Bush's position. Jusst makes you look foolish imo.

OK.

"Where did I make such a substitution?"

How about in the original post, and right at the top of this one?

"Bush told them to bring it on and the Arabs [insurgents] did"

Amazing lack of ability to even acknowledge your own words.

Sorry but you talk in circles.
