The manly and commanding Kerry next to and effeminate befuddled Bush will remain the dominant image in the majority who watched the debate.

Good point. Kerry has now had the chance to stand up next to the President of the United States and speak for his share of a ninety minute performance. People are forming judgments on what they actually saw and heard. Before this it was much easier for outside forces to form people's opinions. Not as easy now for ads to do so. He is a "real person" now to many people who had only seen imagery before.

For Mr. Bush, the opposite is true. Some the better parts of his "real person" identity have been replaced with images of the Alfred E. Neuman, "angry", "irritated", "unprepared" adjectives being tossed around so loosely today.

word is still creeping out that loppy might not be the war hero he has projected himself to be.... people are really wondering if he executed a vc who had lowered his weapon, was wounded, fled and was cowering and hiding. loppy can squelch this ugly rumor by release the supporting statements for his Silver Star.
