Not a single Navy record, Kerry boat mate or non-partisan source backs up any of the smearvets charges. In fact all of their claims fly in the face or established fact except a few minor details which don't even mean anything. Then look at the smearvets themselves. Corsi - author of "Unfit" - racist extreme rightwing bigot spewing hate on the internet against all religions but his own O'Neill - Colson's hand picked dirty trickster to try and discredit Kerry in 1971. It didn't work. Nixon and Colson never found a speck of dirt on Kerry. O'Neill lost his debate with Kerry. O'Neill has harbored a grudge ever since even though Nixon and Colson both apologized to Kerry. O'Neill never even met Kerry in Nam yet claimed he "served" with him. Lied that he has no connections to the GOP. To his credit though O'Neill calls Bush an "empty suit". Elliot - retracted his smearvet lie, gave Kery glowing praise in his CO's fitness report, credited him with 20+ kills and called his leadership skills outstanding, the best of the best. Medic - didn't even treat Kerry per Navy records. Lied that Kerry faked a wound. Two Guys on other boats - prior interviews have them at least a football field away but they changed it this year to 20-50 yards away. Callling Green Beret Republican Jim Rassman a liar. No enemy fire? Non-paertisan boat mate says they were definitely under fire. All of them. Bulletholes in their boat afterward prove it. Navy records all concur. Kerry did not write up the report as smearvets claim, it was written by variety of men. Smearvets would have to hand back their own medals if what they say now is true. Ridiculous smear. Kerry never ran away from a fight in his life, just the opposite. Rear(end) Admiral Hoffman - previously praised Kerry as a true hero. Well-known bitter far rightwinger. Contradicts himself. Perry - funder for Karl Rove and Tom Delay behind funding, now with T. Boone Pickens and more Texas oil types getting rich at our expense Steve Gardner - did not appear in ad, but is the only smearvet who actually fought with Kerry. Kerry reprimanded him and wanted him court martialed for machine-gunning three innocent people against JK's orders. And more Bush operatives and dirty tricksters involved, some the same ones who smeared McCain in 2000. You want to believe these BS artists be my guest.
