how did he get a Silver Star. with "V" device? Kerry killed the fleeing Cong teenager, no other hostiles present, and then wrote the scenario as if he had attacked the entire North army. His gunner testified he had severly wounded the fleeing soldier before Kerry took out after him, knowing the guy was almost dead and harmless, as he had no small arms, only a grenade launcher he had failed to fire, or Kerry and his boat would have been destroyed.
