<I'm not for going to war but, if we do, then fight it like a war. We owe our troops that much.> So in order to support the troops, we should sacrifice more ? As much as you won't like to hear this, the troops are pawns to be moved about by politicians and generals to satisfy their needs. To discipline the behaviour of soldiers, we fill their heads with notions of glory and duty to a higher good that exists only in the minds of believers. The real protectors of freedom are those who uphold the Constitution and defend it from its enemies. The real enemy lies within, for no terrorist can abolish the Constitution, only Congress and the President. wg
