Hey! Look! Another story from the Seattle Times featuring Armchair Detective Chris Vance! State Republican Party Chairman Chris Vance said he was embarrassed by the jailbird he put on the ballot to run for state auditor. He said he didn't know Will Baker had been arrested 19 times since 1992, just gotten out of jail for disturbing a Tacoma City Council meeting and was awaiting a court appearance on a charge of doing the same at the Pierce County Council.
