re: I thought that was just a "neocon fantasy," according to the libs.

OK, I'll respond once, because I am the author of the "neocon fantasy" on this thread.

I'm not a liberal. I'm more conservative than Bush, I'm more conservative than the BS deficit spending, nation building, brain dead talk show fans that pretend to know what conservative means on this thread. Bush is NOT CONSERVATIVE, he's neo-conservative. It's a different, totally radical animal. It's fiscally irresponsible, it's about a military domination of the world in the "new century", regardless of cost. It's got nothing to do with Reps or Dems or Liberals of Conservatives, this is a NEW, and radical, philosophy.

You can buy into this crap if you want to, but please realize this is not mainstream. Saying it is similar to the Nazi party in Germany is an exageration, but not way beyond my imagination. (And please be careful how you quote me on that, I didn't say Bush was a Nazi). Think about it, world military domination.

Depending on the issue, sometimes I'm conservative and sometimes I'm liberal, and sometimes I don't care. But I'm never neo-conservative. IMHO that un-American, and frankly immoral.

John

Steve, in the debate, Kerry agreed with Bush that the job in Iraq needs to be finished.

Yes, but Kerry will be looking to get out within his first term. Bush wants to stay the course.......10, 15, 20 years from now. Its the difference between well watermelons and say walnuts.

I thought that was just a "neocon fantasy," according to the libs. Funny how not one of them has the backbone to criticize Kerry for that, even as we Bush-supporters acknowledged that Bush didn't do such a great job last night.

Unlike the GOP with Mr. Bush, liberals have been criticizing Kerry for months now. Finally, in the past month, he has been doing what we have yelled for him to do..........which is to take Mr. Bush to the wringer. So why criticize now when he is doing exactly what we have wanted for such a long time?
