Gottfried. Good observation. We can prove or disprove it when chip companies issue their reports, by looking at their cap ex.

One factor may be the trend toward fabless model. Since the fabs are in Korea, could it be that they are buying from far-east equipment vendors ?

I wonder if the center of gravity of fab locations is moving away from the US, and whether that has an impact on sales by US companies.
