at the time, gerald ford was so bad, anyone could have been better...

unfortunately jimmy carter turned out to be worse....

So Bush sucks in your estimate. Will you spend any time researching to determine if kerry might suck worse than Bush?
The history is out there showing kerry is much worse. Yes, a lot of kerry's past was before you were born. But your vote is an important responsibility and with that, I believe it is your responsibility to positively know why you are voting for kerry in addition to know why you are voting against Bush.

I would hope you agree too many people are ABB which is a gamble of our future.

More than you might think. I have 2 friends who are hard core Republican, as I am. 1 is voting for Kerry and the other Nader. Something is clearly wrong within the Republican ranks, when you have Republicans like me defecting.

You may be right. I've been watching that EC map site. While trying to find some blue on the map is a bit of a problem, I've noticed that the hardcore red states are not looking as red.......actually more pink. I find that interesting. States like SC, GA and NC should be going heavily to Bush. He may well win them but maybe not as well as once thought.

And another interesting note........according to the polls, a woman and a Dem. and probably a Jew is ahead in the senatorial race in SC.......at least right now. That's a big surprise given that this is supposed to be the year of the Bush!

Maybe there are some GOP defections.........but the polls are not picking them up. The polls show the GOP very solidly behind Bush.
