I tend to agree with you up until 9/11 but friend and foe alike applauded Bush's leadership through one of this countries more challenging periods.

Based on that alone I don't know what you are talking about.

History is full of men who led very suspect lives as leaders until they were thrust into greatness by circumstance.

Besides, even if your premise is true Bush is still better than a self admitted war criminal who had the nerve to aid the enemy while we were still at war. Actually he has now done it twice with his latest actions.

If you take the simple facts of Kerry's life you get a second rate Anti-American who back stabs his fellow soldiers while they are still in harms way. Now that is truly reprehensible.

America will not elect someone like that. I would estimate half of Kerry's supporters are lunatic ultra left wingers that hate America anyway... the other half are apparently useful idiots. What camp does that put you in?
