I think Bush will do better in the next debate, but still lose. The increased practice required to do better will pull him away from campaigning, let alone doing any "Presidenting", if he's doing any of that anyway.
I wonder if he's watched his own performance yet? I saw him speak the day after the debate, and he re-did the whole debate, without an opponent, in front of an adoring crowd of pre-screened wingnuts, puncutating his every bumper-sticker with huzzah's. His kind of crowd. Hitler liked crowds like that too, blind, unquestioning support.
