Why would Barnes say Bush is losing when he's not? That doesn't make sense. Slippery Kerry gave it his best shot at the debates & still cannot connect with the American people.
There's an obvious reason for that failure on his part. He's not really 100% American, he just happened to be born here. Shortly thereafter he was shipped off to Swiss boarding schools, summer vacations in France. He almost spent more time in Europe than the USA during his childhood. That's exactly the reason he believes the U.S. Pres should ONLY take actions in best interest of the American people AFTER
passing "the global test." Kerry looks at the USA as a problem for international geopolitics. If American voters were ever foolish enough to give him the opportunity, Kerry would anxiously forfeit some of the sovereignity of the nation to his "foreign leader friends" through the UN. You're aiding & abetting his traitorous plans.

How the hell can you twist Fred Barnes' words and conclude that "Why would Fred Barnes admit Bush is losing the election?" when he concludes his column with the following?

Kerry often fails to connect, though he surely thrilled Democrats or independents already committed to voting for him. This is no small thing. If he hadn't stirred the faithful, the race would be over. The problem for Kerry, though, is that right now, there aren't enough committed folks to defeat Bush on November 2. The first debate didn't change that.
