Rasmussen's poll only reflect part of the debates bounce, a smart part.

The bad news for Bush is that the first day after the debates won't be the worst of it. Look at today's newspaper front pages across the country. One of the big stories it BUSH LOST and KERRY WON. That takes time to sink in.

The damage continues for awhile as people talk about it, see the images over and over of Bush looking like a weak and confused midget, and see a much more clear, confident, correct tall honest John Kerry. Kerry could be adding 1% per day now for quite awhile.

How does Bush stop that bleeding? And with three more debates Bush-Cheney are likely to lose decisively. Even capturing Osama Bin Lauden may not save Bush.
