Liars are liars on any side. The smearvets are PROVEN liars. Dozens of top investigative reporters went over their charges with fine-toothed combs and came up with a zero in terms of credibility. Even the partially true statements they made were totally twisted around to try and make them look like the opposite of what they were. dozens of investigative reporters (plus Nixon's FBI and dirty tricks oeprations) also went over Kerry's war record with a fine-toothed comb. Many-many times. They nevre found anything wrong with it. On the contrary. It was a superlative war record, about as good as they get. After the war, tempers rage, but as if Kerry ever slandered veterans. On the contrary, he was attacking Nixon, McNamara and the top brass for turning the war into a dishonest cover up and bloody madhouse. and he was right. Everything Kerry stated was true and everything the smearvets have hit him with is false. Yes Kerry did have minor wounds, but who cares? The same typoe smearvets attacked Max Cleland for getting three limbs blown off in Vietnam. This is just extremist rightwing lies, and they will make up anything to smear war heros running against their far right agenda, even McCain who they still call a "traitor". You support these creeps? You think McCain is a traitor?
