My problem with the assessment is the extreme nature of the call. As I stated in the post I just submitted, I can see gold rising and the dow falling. Just not to the extremes stated by that gold bull. It appears to be a pipe dream that has absolutely no basis in reality.

Sure, if nukes go off in every major city in the US next week, maybe Mad Max will actually show up, gold will rise 700% and the dow will no longer exist...er, fall to under 2000.

OK...is that a better assessment?
