Never mind I figured it out directly from the data provided by the U.S. Administrative Office of the Courts and the Census bureau. The number of households where someone has filed has risen .3% between 2000-2003, or .1% a year. The figures for 2004 aren't available yet. Oddly enough, one of the biggest one year jumps was back between 1995-96 where it jumped .24%. I guess it's always darkest right before the dawn.
