Z, I agree that we need to try harder at multilateralism, but other nations simply aren't going to wade into this mess unless they can see victory at hand.

Personally, I don't think Kerry really believes we can win in Iraq, but he made himself look like a real believer last Thursday night. Like I told Ted, anything to win, and Kerry did a great job convincing the single-digit percentage of voters out there (including Mindmeld) that he'll "do better" in Iraq.

And like I said before, I don't buy it, especially with Kerry's record of flip-flopping ... er, I meant "nuance." Such a man would not be an effective leader, IMO, because his decision-making will always be reactionary instead of proactive.
