There are candidates who are willing to say anything. You can't go only by what they say, you also have to watch what they do and have done. Absolutely agree with you. Bush has said he is fighting for freedom and democracy worldwide, and says that the Saudis (who don't allow a grown female to go out in public without the company of a male relative) are US allies. You have a pretty weak case if you think the ideals Bush preaches match his actions - if they did, the world wouldn't hate him. Good post!

Elroy, Absolutely agree with you. You make it sound like Bush is endorsing harsh anti-female laws in Saudi Arabia and world hates him for it. If so, you would be wrong on both counts. Joe
