"Do you accept these historical quotes from kerry as fact?"

Sure. It is perfectly conceivable that someone would support the use of force as a last resort and then feel that it was used well before there weren't any more choices.

In addition, while Kerry did say he voted for the $87 billion before he voted against it, it is never mentioned that Bush had categorically stated he would veto any version of the bill that wasn't an unfunded, blanket authorization. Kerry voted for a version that included at least some funding for it and included some benefits for the families of the National Guard and reserve. If it was so important to support the troops, why did Bush chose to play politics and threaten to veto it if it passed?

Kerry wasn't my choice for the Democratic candidate. However, he is better than Bush in so many respects.

the same ones who were complaining that Bush-One didn't finish the job.

No, that was your right winger neocons too. Wolfowitz was leading the charge that Bush 1 was a wimp and that Junior should show him how to whup Iraq.

It is my opinion that the majority of the Bush haters today who are saying Bush going into Iraq is wrong, are the same ones who were complaining that Bush-One didn't finish the job.

Most of those who were complaining about Bush I were also stating that an invasion of Iraq was inappropriate.

And btw most of those complaining pre Iraq war now fully understand why Bush I did not go into Iraq. Its too bad you all and Mr. Bush II still don't get it!
