Tom's point was that we're not pulling out all the stops to win this war and that we need to get serious about it. Getting serious means putting things in perspective and making sacrifices. Some of our other priorities may have to take a back seat for a while. For example, environmentalists need to understand that war pollutes but that we can't hold back for that reason. Plenty of time to clean up the mess after the war. Likewise priorities like exposing the anti-Christianity movement near and dear to the heart of Bush's base.
There are other things more important right now--if we're serious, that is.
