Or you have been able to cash your house in for up to $500k tax free gain. Then you have related businesses that have taken advantage of that. That's what I mean by feeding at the trough. That end of the economy has masked the rest. When those "haves" can no longer feed at the trough...I dunno what will happen. I'd say the rest of the economy needs to start moving ASAP.
