They didn't build bombs until Junior gave them the go ahead.

Previously, their cheating consisted of a uranium enrichment program. It was small. It was just as likely to be used to provide fuel for their electric reactors.

Many countries, such as Brazil have similar programs.

(CNN) -- The Brazilian government and U.N. nuclear inspectors are at odds over inspections of an under-construction, uranium-enrichment facility near Rio de Janeiro, sources close to the International Atomic Energy Agency said Sunday.

The truth is the nuclear genie, now going on three generations old, is definitely out of the bottle. Junior's ideas of threats to contain it wont work. Eventually the U.S. is going to have to deal with this in a way more contructive than invasion and quagmire.
