Edwards has come up with some zingers. He's sharp. He's not likely to let Cheney get away with anything. As a matter of fact, I think Edwards will do to Cheney what Kerry did to Bush.

I'm hoping Edwards will rip Cheney a new one, smiling all the while. You're an attorney, he's an attorney - he's won billions of dollars for his clients in the courtroom. I kind of see it as Cheney on trial. Cheney was the one who browbeat the CIA into delivering the intelligence the administration wanted. Cheney has recently claimed Iraq STILL had WMD and links to Al quieda! Cheney is the one who used to be CEO of Halliburton, that had 7 government contracts coming in and now has 37, while Cheney receives his deferred compensation from them! I hope he rips Cheney the same way he's ripped these big soulless corporations.

I have thought that the Edwards/Cheney debate could
be a tough debate. Cheney is a negative person and
he isn't a slouch. Still, I hope to see, if only
briefly, the Edwards smile and charm.
