You and I are in total agreement, then.

Every organization, from local school boards to corporations such as Enron and Tyco to the US Congress has experienced corruption - but we have generally effective ways to investigate and control it. The UN is no different. If the structure can't be changed to incorporate the checks and balances required to insure integrity, dissolve the organization.

A random note on the subject: Personally, I always thought the UN should move from NYC to a place of historical significance, like Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is significant to Muslims, Christians and Jews and it seems there is constant fighting over it. Make it an international city, the Washington DC of the world, and move the UN HQ there. If that can't solve some problems... well, I don't know what will.
