I'm sure Bush believes he is doing what is in the best interest of the country.

I think Bush primarily does what he thinks is in the best interest of his deity. That may or may not line up with the country's interest. In certain areas, like science, it clearly is at odds with interests of America.

I believe you're too bright to believe that statement. Now my belief may or may not be correct, should I not waver from it even if you should prove it wrong?
