China....they are buying knowhow, expertise, a foothold and a training ground.

I have been reading reference to that idea often in the National Post recently. There appears to be a lot of concern about management (Chinas) motivation (personal political gains vs. economic gains/success), ability ( can they run a Fortune 500 Co.? ) and ability to succeed (doubtful). Basically, do they naively sp?)trash the companies and leave shareholders, employees and pensioners hung out to dry. I can understand the hesitation of the country to embrace a Chinese takeover of important resource industries. I question the probability of good stewardship by western capitalist standards.

Is the Resource Show on again today?

I gather you are a gold bull of sorts but suspect that you have a more measured affection for the stuff than most gold bugs. Did you learn, hear or see anything at the show that has skewed your thinking on Gold ?

BTW...what specific gold opportunities did you see that jumped out at you at the show?

Cheers
