I think that the fact there was a disconnect between what lot of middle america dont know about outside world and their blind belief in the leader gave a very good oportunity for kerry to busrt the bubble and swing some votes in his favor. Its great for kerry that he did well in the debate.

I agree. I don't think people bothered to look at Kerry's resumé. It reflects a man with substantive qualities.

With the next 2 debates focussed on economy and internal issue, people are familiar with the issues and are not likely to change votes on what they hear in the debates - unless one of them commits a major boo-boo.

BTW, great job keeping this thread going. Even exceeds the AMD/Intel rivalry :-)
