When I was in school, never understand why we didn't have fresh fruit/vegies from the local farms.

These possibilities come to mind:

1. Not everyone likes to eat raw corn & wheat.

2. Your caregiver didn't pack any in your lunch sack.

But with appropriate legislation backed by aggressive enforcement, these reasons might be mitigated in the future.

Yummy: The district offers "grab-and-go" salads, and combination plates of fruit, vegetables and a sandwich.

I'm sure this is making Brushwud very unhappy. <g>
