It is hard work. It is undermined when US leader send mixed messages.

That is a debate quote from W and it is interesting that you were impressed with it. Thus far W has who has sent a consistent message before Kerry coming onto the scene. All we got with that consistent message was escalating violence to the point that it has turned into a genocide in Iraq. Is that the result we expect? This is remiscent of VietNam where people said the same thing as "helping the enemy with a different message."

Where W has led us with respect to Iraq was and continues to be a mistake. If he is sending a consistent message of a mistake, it certainly is OK to send a message to correct that mistake. If W says that it is a mixed message, he is wrong again. He was wrong when he traded Sammy Sosa, he is wrong now where he is trading many innocent and American lives. He is clueless.
