"CNN uncovered kerry did commit treason by negotiating with the vietcong......" I don't see how such an action, even if it occurred as you state, rises to the level of treason. What he did might have been illegal, but even that is dubious. To negotiate, you have to have power to make agreements. It is hard to believe that the Vietnamese believed that Kerry had any power to broker an agreement. What they did have the right to believe is that he could make their position public. Which he did. But that is more along the lines of what a reporter does.
