None of that really matters in my decision. Talk is cheap. I bought in to the new ceo theory although i at this point dont have much confidence in either. Hopefully kerry will surround himslef with better people.
Bush tells us "we know where he stands" incessantly. Frankly i dont know where he stands. I made suggestions along the way on Lindy Bills thread and i eventually got the boot there for doing so, but i and others would be far more comfortable with bush if he had fired rummy when the abu grab mess occurred or replaced Darth Vader with rudy or mccain which he could easliy have done and would have given him a clear lead. He could have admitted error but he is wedded to the Lindy Bill, unclewests and andrew cochran (on the other thread) and there right wing admit no error/take no prisoner philosophy.
Add to that evangelical christians and their agenda which makes me very uncomfortable.
We risk alot going to the opportunist kerry. But years ago, i believe that pols make good presidents if once elected they realize they are president and not party hack. Clinton did a fair job in the pre 9/11 world. Kerry needs to do much better. We cant afford a Bay of Pigs as hurt the other JFK and let to the CMC. His advisors will be key and he will have to make decisions and not just criticize the decisions of others from the back bench. It's a close call for me as the election of either guy will be decisive. But kerry may grown and may even get some con support down the road. With bush we know what we got and that is an admin and a political team that will not be honest and will not admit error. Mike

Given that Russia is a sovereign nation, what more should be done than is being done and how?
