Dave, clicking on "2" for 2 new messages in peoplemarks takes one to that person's last post ... and clicking on "1" takes one to "No such message" error message.

The "message pointer" is off by one.

Dave, the old format allowed one to see a recent stock quote whenever the user was reading messages for a particular stock thread. Now there is an extra step that would be totally unnecessary if the page were set up correctly.

My point is that the latest stock price should display automatically when accessing public messages for a particular stock thread. And buttons for historic prices, news events, SEC Filings, etc. should be displayed on the same page so that a user needs only make one click to reach the info.

SI has always attracted more serious investors who are trying to learn more about particular stocks. We don't need more hassle, and we shouldn't have to spend MORE time trying to find info that should be more readily available.

WOW this is my firt double post ever. I alway thought it was caused by people using the back button to go to the message editing page but didn't do that. hmmmm.
