It's an AP story, nitwit. What, you believe obvious pathological liars like Hannity, Drudge and Limbaugh but don't believe anything in the mainstream press where journalists get fired for getting something factually wrong? As for Rather, the jury is still out. Wait for the evidence to come in. We may be on the verge of exposing a big Republican dirty trick. Also recognize the contents of the (forged?) memos was still true, which was why they were not checked more carefully. Bush did go AWOL and lie about it and did get special treatment.
