I just ran into a pediatrician at a local coffee house this morning...he's a family friend and has joined the Kerry Campaign here in conservative Southwest Michigan...He did tell me that they have a record number of volunteers and are very optimistic about Kerry winning in Michigan.

My dad was a surgeon. He, and most of his colleagues, were democrats. A number of the wives were very active in demo politics. A large number of docs at my hospital are dems. I think at least 2 are even left of me. You need to meet some new docs.
