Alastair- remember Kerry mouthed the words of the Russian Communists for years. He has also been kissing the Viet Communists ass from the early '70s through present. France cannot wait to get control of our military so they can finally win a war..

How high can you count? We have nearly 300,000,000 people in the US. If health care premiums cost the government workers $2800 (only 25% of the actual cost) and the government pays the rest of the $11,200 cost or $8400.... How much do you think that would be for every single person in America.......

Do you not think people have some responsibility to participate in their own health care.

The issue is the cost. How to make premiums affordable for everyone. And still get good care.

Some people who don't have health insurance, but go to the hospital emergency, because they know the law says they have to be cared for....in fact do have:

a car or two
a telephone or two or three
a TV or two or three
cable
and a good many other luxuries....

And what about the people who fall through the crack, and decide not to work at all....

What about the people who smoke marijuana, and then become one of the 1 in 10 who become addicted to all sorts of other drugs. Then have health issues like HIV or Hepatitis C or other diseases that could have been prevented.

I do notice that the countries who do pay 'cradle to grave' costs are not doing very well economically and that many of their citizens come here to the States for health care.
