Oh my!!! BBC today has Rummy saying no hard link between Iraq and AQ, and No WMD!!! And he just doesn't know how the intelligence could have been wrong. Poor poor Rummy- I can tell him why it was wrong. Afterall we've been hearing about WHY it was wrong for months. This administration put pressure on intelligence agencies to bring them the answer they wanted, rather than the real deal- duh. This administration wanted to invade Iraq before 9/11, used that terrible event of terrorism (unconnected to Iraq) as a pretext, and perverted our intelligence agencies into supporting their stupid cause. Really, impeachment is too good for them. How about a real trial for treason? All those folks running around SI calling people traitors for disagreeing with the government- how about our leaders, who have endangered us by making Iraq infinitely more dangerous than it was, and overthrowing a head of state for no reason recognized my international law- thus leaving the US exposed for war crimes. Yup, I'd say that's acting against the interests of the US. Let the trial begin.
