RE: "Anyway, I already know why Bush and Kerry get passes by their respective followers, and it all has to do with the polarized political climate that exists these days." Agreed. Polarization is hugely responsible for the free passes. I wonder though, to what extent individuals are given free pass for being similar, or wrongly attacked just because they are different?
