It may be entirely possible that Egypt's Mubarak prediction came true, the invasion of Iraq gave cause to thousands more Osamas.

Every time an Iraqi son loses a brother, a mother or a father he doesn't blame the terrorists, he blames America for creating the chaos that kiiled his loved ones. Saddam was bad, but as one Iraqi said: "Before the American's came we had one Saddam. Now we have thousands."

Bush's simple sound bite view of the world never allowed him to reflect deeply on the consequences of his war of choice... and I suspect it has not played out as he had hoped.

Iraq is the battlefield that has drawn large numbers of al Qaeda & other Islamic fundamentalists like bees to honey.

Iraq is a major battle in the larger War on Terror.

It may become one but it isn't one now nor was it one two years ago.

Since Sept 11 the Bush Adm has wisely placed it's priority on taking the offense not waiting for the terrorists to strike the homeland yet again.

Wisely? We have spent over $200 million and have lost thousands to death and injury and now they are talking a ten year occupation, and you call that wise? I would be interested in knowing what you consider bad judgment.

Iraq is the battlefield that has drawn large numbers of al Qaeda & other Islamic fundamentalists like bees to honey.

It has not. You need to stop listening to GOP spin. Last week, US military officials announced that most of the insurgents are Iraqis. Meanwhile, recruiting for al Qa'ida is up dramatically in other parts of the world.

You must stop taking at face value everything the WH, RNC and FOX News tells you. They were wrong about WMDs, about al Qa'ida links and about how long it would take to convert Iraq to democracy. And they are wrong about this being a part of the war on terror. Its not.

Would you prefer the terrorists win their 1st choice of location for the war they've declared on the USA, which is NYC/LA or Miami?

They are planning their next attack as I post. There is no question. All Bush has managed to do is help al Qa'ida's recruiting efforts. The whole world knows it. Only some Americans still believe otherwise.

Ex-U.S. Governor of Iraq Criticizes Troop Levels

reuters.com

A classic example of WH spin........when Bremer was in charge of Iraq, he said there were plenty of troops on the ground in Iraq and the WH agreed. Now he's saying there were not enough troops. You are not being told the truth. Its too bad you are allowing yourself to be duped.
