For an enterprising reporter or blogger: Write an article, asking for people to call, and write about any situation where they have been in ANY classroom in the US, any State....where they have heard a teacher or professor advocating ideas for political purposes....!!! The reporter or blogger would be absolutely swamped!!!

Per the NJ Superintendent: It is never acceptable for a teacher to utilize the classroom to advocate for political purposes or advance personal beliefs.

That response from the school officials sounds like a two-bit response to a ten dollar issue. I thought the whole idea of school was to teach children about their civic duty to vote. Since when is the President of the United States off-limits to school children? What changed?

They're starting to take some heat. Here is a statement from their web site. Guess what? They're blaming the teacher, saying it was she who engaged in partisan political discussions in the classroom.
