You can't make this stuff up. From Powerline:

Kerry: American Foreign Policy Must Satisfy Extra-terrestrials

I don't know, the only thing I can suggest is that maybe this is a typo or something. CNN reports on how John Kerry tried to defend himself today against the charge that his "global test" would weaken American security:

[I]f they were honest enough to give America the full quote, which America heard, they would know that I'm never going to allow America's security to be outsourced. That's the job of the president.

But I can do a better job of protecting America's security because the test that I was talking about was a test of legitimacy, not just in the globe, but elsewhere.

"Not just in the globe, but elsewhere"? It was bad enough when Kerry was deferring to the French. Now he's saying that we have to get the green light from space aliens before we can defend ourselves. Maybe he thinks Teresa can get in touch with them on our behalf.

Or maybe Kerry has no idea what the hell he's saying, most of the time.

My DH suggested that they just forgot to capitalize globe:

a test of legitimacy, not just in the Globe, but elsewhere.

In other words, not just the Boston Globe, but the NYT, Le Monde, etc. :-/ It's that, or Kerry is communicating with his people in the alternate universe he comes from.

Yep...Good idea...Dark royal blue suit, light blue shirt, and glowing American Flag red tie.... No lipstick for Bush though... Doesn't the thought of it just make you laugh?

Somehow for Kerry, it seems like something he would do, and he did. Can't imagine who the idiot advisor is that is telling him to toss balls, shoot skeet, windsurf, and go to NASA and dress like a bunny....But on the other hand, maybe the idiot advisor will keep it up.....<guffaw, guffaw!!!>

Maybe it's Teresssssa. LOL at the thought.

Kerry probably told them to take a hike. He needed serious help in the lipstick dept. LOL

I've noticed that Bush looks good in light blue. He wears that color allot when campaigning. Since it will be an evening event, maybe he should go with the royal blue.
