<Now the USSR fell before the current Bush adminstration came into office> It is so lame to hear one excuse after another offered by apologists for the failure of leadership in the last four years. We have a President who is not doing his job. If Clinton was President today and if he had failed the country the way Bush has I would be saying the exact same thing. It is not about partisan politics for me -- it is a matter of national security. We have a President who adopted policies to justifiy pursuing fabricated threats that did not exist and then devoted the bulk of our resources to those trumped up threats. At the same time, he allowed real threats to escalate in a reckless and dangerous manner. The President deserves to be fired.
