Arafat we don't here much of him any more
could it be his health is deteriorating?

I hear more and more of his staff and supporters are catching a deadly disease.

One can only hope. But people who know they are indespensible usually last a long time, so I'll believe that evil old spider is dying when I see proof. I think the proper conclusion from the quiet is that Arafat is being isolated as the realization grows on the Pals that the intifada is a failure and there is no plan B, certainly not the plan of more democracy and less corruption that most of the Pals would like to try out.

I think only the Eurocrats talk to Arafat these days, and of course his boyos with the guns. The Arab League and the US have stopped talking to him.
