Some people ask if the price, which is likely to be $100,000, and maybe $200,000, is too high. It may be to start with, but it will come down. When colour TV sets first came out, only the well-to-do could afford them. A better analogy would be commercial airlines. Only the wealthy could afford plane travel not so long ago, at the beginning of commercial air travel. Now it's dirt cheap. I'm hoping to take a ride on a "Virgin SpaceLines" trip by the time I'm 40. Hope to stay in an orbital hotel by 50. Derek@perfecttiming.com
