Zell and Kerry have the exact same defense and intel budget voting record. Before that, the same defense and intel cuts Bush ads acccuse Kerry of were supported by Dick Cheney and other top Republican conseervatives. It was called the Peace Dividend, remember? Cheney boasted about it. Porter Goss also wanted twice the intel cuts Kerry did. Kerry only wanted a 1% cut to help balance the budget. 1%, plus he wanted more intel on the ground and less in the air.

Those Bush ads and the entire GOP convention were extremely dishonest. AT the convention they also outright lied about the Iraq War and the war on Al Qaida, pretending they were the same thing. They aren't and never have been. Those are two very different enemies and they only start merging after Bush challenged Al Qaida to "bring it on!". Hence, 1050 Americans dead and tends of thousands of others killed and wounded.
