Tim,

I think I get your post. "The rich are getting richer is a good thing", but the poor getting poorer isn't a bad thing, because they've always been poor anyway.

I don't know where I get this crazy idea that elevating more folks from poor to the middle class would be a great thing for this country. Even at the expense of the rich, who are currently enjoying their lavish Bush tax breaks.
