I wonder if one way to interpret the Genesis story of God’s creation of Adam is that the dust He worked with was an animal, from a long line of animals. Cro-Magnon man? And He breathed His Holy breath into it and it became human.

the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

>> Ten generations from Adam to Noah and ten more from Noah to Abraham. Jewish scholars have recently concluded that there have been 109 generations from Abraham to today which means there are 129 generations from Adam to today.

3500/ 129 = 27 years per gereration which is about right, taking us back to Adam or our common ancestor. <<

JEWISH SCHOLARS? why would you look to jews for the answer??? don't pay heed to jewish fables and men. turn toward the Word of God for your answers.

For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. --Titus 1:10-14
