They...meaning taking Europes lead. If they stay Socialist they will never be able to afford to enforce that influence on us. If they free up their politics and economies...they'll love us again. ;-) In other words, it really doesn't matter. Most don't really think we are a rogue state...you'be been reading The Nation and the Guardian too much. They are still pissed off communism in the Soviet Union didn't work out.
